Founder CRM

Privacy policy

Your tasks and contacts are stored in your Chrome profile. Optional AI features send relevant information to the provider you choose.

Last updated: 15 September 2026. This policy covers the Founder CRM extension and website, provided by Founder CRM.

Information we handle

Founder CRM helps you complete and track web tasks, with related contacts, context and follow-ups. Depending on the features you use, it handles:

  • Tasks, destination links, instructions, notes, due dates, follow-ups, result links and completion history.
  • Contact names, usernames, profile links, biographies, profile images and other details saved from supported pages.
  • Interaction records and communication content, such as messages, replies or notes you save and supported interactions detected on a page.
  • Page URLs, titles, visible text and links read for task preparation, contact context or a flow you run.
  • Saved flows, schedules, execution results, AI chat content, provider settings and the API key you supply.

Web pages and text you supply may contain personal or sensitive information. Only use those features with information you are permitted to process.

What stays on your device

Tasks, contacts, notes, history and saved flows are stored in IndexedDB in your Chrome profile. Settings and your AI API key use Chrome extension local storage. Temporary task and browser state also uses session storage.

This version has no Founder CRM account, hosted CRM database or cloud CRM sync. Local storage is not an application-encrypted password vault. Protect your device and browser profile, and use an API key with appropriate limits.

Optional AI features

You can choose xAI, OpenAI, Anthropic or Google and provide your own API key. Requests go directly from the extension to that provider over HTTPS. Your API key is sent to authenticate those requests. Entering a key in the provider settings can also request the list of available models.

When you use AI chat or an AI-powered flow, the provider may receive your prompts, chat and tool context, flow instructions, relevant page text, URLs and links, contact or profile details, source posts and execution results. This information is used to build flows, interpret instructions and find or evaluate relevant information.

The provider handles those requests under its own terms, privacy policy and account settings, including retention and any model-training controls. Founder CRM does not control the provider's retention or training practices. Basic task and contact management does not require an AI key.

Websites, images and browser actions

Opening a task or running a flow communicates with its destination websites through your browser. The extension can use your existing signed-in session to read relevant content and carry out the configured steps. Those websites handle activity under their own policies.

Contact images may load from their original host or from Unavatar using a public username. An image request shares the image URL or username with that service, along with ordinary connection information such as your IP address.

Task preparation can open a conversation, start an email composer or locate content. It does not itself send a message or cast a vote. Separately, a flow you choose to run can perform the actions configured in that flow.

Why the extension needs browser access

  • Side panel access keeps task controls and contact context beside the page.
  • Storage keeps settings and workflow state between sessions.
  • Alarms and notifications support reminders and scheduled flows.
  • Tab, window and tab-group APIs open and focus task destinations, track the current page and organize flow tabs.
  • Scripting and website access let bundled helpers read relevant page content and prepare or execute your tasks and flows.

The current extension requests access across websites because task destinations and flow steps can use URLs you choose. Access is used for these features, not to build an advertising profile or collect unrelated browsing history. You can manage extension site access in Chrome; restricting it may prevent some tasks or flows from working.

How information is used and shared

We use information to provide task management, contact context, reminders and browser flows. The extension does not send your CRM database to a Founder CRM server and does not include advertising or analytics tracking.

Information is shared when necessary for the AI, website and image features described above, when you choose to export or share it, or when you provide it in a support request. Support correspondence is used to respond to your request and retained only as needed to resolve it and meet applicable obligations.

We do not sell user data, use or transfer it for advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. We do not use it for purposes unrelated to the extension's described features. We do not permit people to read user data except with your consent for specific information, for security, to comply with law, or as otherwise permitted by the Limited Use requirements.

Founder CRM's use and transfer of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Using this website

The website does not read your extension's CRM database or API key. It does not include advertising trackers, third-party analytics or a marketing cookie system. Fonts and demonstration images are served with the site.

The website's hosting provider processes ordinary request information, such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time, to deliver and secure the site. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.

Your choices and deleting data

You can edit or delete records in the extension. In Flows, open Manage data to clear supported categories or reset everything. A full reset removes your stored CRM records and saved AI key. Removing the extension also removes its extension storage from that Chrome profile.

Local records remain until you remove them. Exported files and device backups are separate copies. Clearing Founder CRM does not delete messages, votes or other actions on websites, or requests already processed by an AI provider. Manage those records with the relevant service. You can revoke an API key through its provider.

Contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of information you have sent us, such as support correspondence. We cannot access or recover your local CRM database.

Contact and policy changes

A public support contact will be added here before the Chrome Web Store launch.

We will update this page when our data practices change and show the revision date above. Material changes that require additional notice or consent will be communicated before the new handling begins.
