Product Hunt makers

A CRM for your Product Hunt launch

Launch day brings you more real conversations in twelve hours than most weeks. By the next morning the leaderboard has reset and those people are scattered across comments, DMs and X replies. Founder CRM keeps them in one list with a follow-up, so the launch keeps paying after the day ends.

Before the launch

The people who will actually show up are the ones you have already talked to. Put them in the list the week before: early users, people who asked for the feature, makers you helped. On the day, you will know who to tell and who not to spam.

The launch-day outreach checklist covers who to thank, who to message and what to skip.

On launch day

Reply to comments yourself. For each person who asked something real, add them to the list with the question in a note. You can do it from the side panel while you are on the page, or run the People on this page flow from templates against your launch URL to collect the people with profile links.

Other makers launching the same day are worth knowing too. A flow can walk today's launches and keep makers who fit a description. See Founder CRM on Product Hunt for what runs on the site.

The week after

This is where launches usually leak. Give each person a follow-up date and come back with something specific: the feature they asked about shipped, or a question about how they tried it. Many makers also live on X, so the same record can hold both profiles.

For reaching other makers directly, read Product Hunt makers with DMs open and the Product Hunt outreach playbook. For what the record holds, see Product Hunt CRM. If you are not sure a listing is worth it, launching without Product Hunt is the other path.

Not an upvote tool

Founder CRM does not upvote your launch, comment for you, or message people on your behalf. Product Hunt's rules are against vote rings and automated engagement, and people can tell anyway. Read no auto-DM for why.

It is free, with no account (pricing). Add Founder CRM to Chrome from the Chrome Web Store before launch week.

Not quite you?

For indie hackers

A short list of people you met in public and a date to look again. Not a pipeline.

For solo founders

One person, a handful of outreach hours a week, and no one else to remember for you.

For saas founders

Before HubSpot, before a sales hire: the people who described the problem your SaaS solves.

For bootstrappers

No seat, no subscription, no account. The list stays on your machine.

Questions founders ask

Will it upvote my launch?
No. It does not cast votes or ask anyone to.
Can it collect the people who commented on my launch?
Yes. Import the People on this page flow from Templates and point it at your launch URL, or add people from the side panel as you reply.
Does it send the follow-up?
No. It reminds you when a follow-up is due. You write and send it on Product Hunt or X.
Do I need a Product Hunt API key?
No. It uses the Chrome session you are already signed into.
