Syften alternative
Syften sends keyword alerts from Reddit and other public communities. Founder CRM does not replace that listener. We do not run hosted keyword alerts. We keep the person you decide to answer after the ping, and you write every message.
What Syften does
Syften is a keyword monitoring tool for the public web and communities, including Reddit. Their Reddit monitoring page says matches can go to email, Slack, RSS, API, or webhook, and that they aim to deliver Reddit alerts in under a minute. That timing is their target, not a number we measured.
They also describe an optional AI rule that accepts or rejects a noisy match before the alert goes out. That is a filter on their listener. It is not someone writing your reply.
A smaller cousin with a free email plan is F5Bot, which watches Reddit, Hacker News, and Lobsters. Different product, same job shape: ping, then you decide.
The gap after the alert
An alert answers "something was said." Outreach needs who, which thread, what you replied, and whether Friday is a follow-up or a stop. Syften can hand the match to your own tools through an API or webhook. It is still not the CRM on the page where you reply.
The habit is track outreach from public conversations. The free pieces that are not a hosted listener are the free Reddit lead-gen stack.
Where Founder CRM fits
Founder CRM is a Chrome side panel: names, links, notes, a next action. Optional flows open Reddit, X, and Product Hunt in your own session and keep people who match. You write every comment. We will not claim live monitoring we do not run.
Safety and no auto-DM cover what the extension refuses. Chrome Web Store approval is coming soon. Install Founder CRM if the missing piece is the person, not the ping.
When this is not a fit
If you need Slack alerts, a minute-level Reddit listener, or an API of keyword matches, use Syften or another monitor you trust. Founder CRM will not pretend to be that inbox.
